About Jeronimo Zante Cruises - 5-6 Hours South Zakynthos Cruise : Myzithres, Keri Caves, Marathonisi (Turtle Island), Turtle spotting

Explore an area of the spectacular National Marine Park of Zakynthos, on a magical tour, in search of the “Caretta Caretta” turtles.  An unforgettable experience awaits you!

We embark from Alykes or Alykanas port and make our first swimming stop at Myzithres rocks.

We will then be visiting the beautiful Keri Caves, with their iridescent waters, where our experienced captain will pilot you through the most famous ones! You will have the chance to swim at an isolated, accessible only by boat, beach in the general Keri Cave area.

Next stop, Marathonisi, also known as the “Turtle Island”, part of the National Marine Park of Zakynthos and home to the famous Caretta-Caretta turtles! Lots of turtle nests are located on the island. We will disembark on the island where you can swim or get refreshments from the boat-canteens located there.

We will then cruise around Lagana bay for turtle spotting. Our captain will try to locate turtles for you however no one can guarantee this as we are talking about nature. There are also regulations for the turtles’ protection including speed limits and distances to be respected.
