About Jeronimo Zante Cruises - 5-6 Hours South Kefalonia Cruise: Lazarus beach, Poros, Skala and Katelios
Sail across this green island with its breath-taking beaches and crystal clear waters. Kefalonia, the largest Ionian island, with its rich history and cultural tradition, as well as the green of its mountains blending with the blue of its waters, is a gem in the Ionian Sea and a truly unique and a beloved destination. We embark from Alykes or Alykanas port (in Zakynthos) and will be visiting four villages/beaches on the south of Kefalonia. Our first swimming stop will be at Lazarus beach. The beach is accessible only by boat and it is characterised by its wild natural beauty. Next, we will be visiting the picturesque small village/beach of Poros where you will have the chance to swim. The village of Skala (meaning staircase or ladder in Greek) is our next swimming stop. Skala is one of the largest and most popular destinations of the island. Our final stop will be at the small fishing village of Katelios, located between the busy resorts of Skala and Lourdas, on the south east coast. It is a quite resort that retains much of its former appeal. Here, you can either spend your time swimming or enjoy lunch in a traditional fish tavern.
