Sailing Around the island – Daily Cruise - Book Online

About Sailing Around the island – Daily Cruise

Our boat has a maximum capacity of 8 people (plus the captain)

The itinerary bellow represents our default tour schedule, which we may change upon request. While we do recommend it, we strive to tailor our tours to your needs and preferences! Please contact us if you would like to change things around, and don’t hesitate to ask your captain! (Please note that changes to the route can be accommodated so long as they can reasonably fit into the trip’s schedule and the weather conditions allow)

While it does also feature a conventional engine, the boat is a sailboat, and your captain can, upon request and if weather conditions allow for it, unfurl the sails. Please note that the boat will tilt when this happens. Get in touch with us for more information, or talk to your captain at the port!

Our first stop is at the famous Blue Caves, where the blue light, produced by the sun shining on the water, reflects against the walls of the cave and transforms the seabed into shades of purple, red and turquoise.

We sail around the Cape Skinari on our way to the South. Maybe you will be lucky enough to spot some dolphins! The difference between the east and the west coast is enormous. The west coast is very steep with several small bays.

Our next stop is truly breathtaking, something that many of you have seen before but up until now only on postcards, the famous Smuggler’s Wreck! Enter the wreck like a pirate or have a swim in the turquoise water. You have plenty time for swimming there.

Keep your camera ready for the fantastic Lagoon of Porto Vromi, which has two natural ports full of fishing boats.

After that it’s time for a refreshing swim at Marathias Beach.

Have your cameras ready again for the Island of Marathonisi. Long ago Marathonisi was connected with Zakynthos. This island is a famous spot for the Caretta-Caretta turtle. If you are lucky enough and the turtles aren’t camera shy you’ll be able to capture one of your most memorable holiday moments!

For a last chance for swimming, we’ll stop at Pelouzo.

On our way back to Zakynthos-town we pass several long sandy beaches like Gerakas, Porto Zoro, Banana Beach, Porto Roma and St.Nikolaos Beach.
