About EuroDivers - Try Scuba Diving
Try Scuba Diving for Beginners – Detailed Information
Before starting the adventure and experiencing a try scuba dive, a link or a QR Code will be sent via email by our dive center. This allows beginners to follow a short online theoretical introduction and understand the fundamentals of scuba diving (eLearning).
This session takes about 20–30 minutes and can be completed on a laptop, tablet or smartphone—either the night before, at breakfast, or any time before arriving at the dive center.
. Available Transfer
Transfer can be arranged from specific pick-up points in the various tourist resorts. (See “Pick-Up Points” section)
. Start Time & Days
We start at 9:00 AM at our Dive Center in Laganas, every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday.
. Alternative Days
Note: If a beginner is not available on the days mentioned above, they are welcome to join on any other day with the certified divers and do a separate beginner’s dive with one of our qualified instructors.
This trip will include two stops:
one for the try dive
and one for swimming or snorkeling.
This option is offered only if the customer cannot attend the standard DSD (Discover Scuba Diving) days.
. At the Dive Center
At the dive center, registration forms will be provided along with additional documents such as liability releases and medical statements. These must be filled in and signed unless already completed online via the eLearning.
If you are under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must also sign the forms.
The minimum age to participate is 10 years.
. Scuba Equipment
All scuba diving equipment will be provided and prepared by our instructors for each beginner.
. Boat Departure
Our dive boat departs at 10:00 AM from the Dive Center.
Our customized dive boat features shaded areas, a cabin, a toilet, and a rear platform with step ladders for easy entry and exit from the water. It is equipped with all required safety gear and EFR (Emergency First Response) kits.
. Onboard Theory Recap
During the boat ride to the dive site, a brief recap of the theory will be given by one of our certified instructors.
. Boat Capacity & Safety
Our customized boat can carry up to 24 guests for the scuba trip. Full safety equipment is available for everyone on board, along with shaded areas, cabin, toilet, and rear platform with ladders.
. For Non-Divers
If you do not wish to scuba dive, you are more than welcome to join the trip for snorkeling or just a relaxing swim while your partner or friend dives.
. Boat Trip Duration
The boat ride takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the reef, where the try dives take place.
. Dive Organization
For safety and to ensure everyone enjoys the experience fully, 2 to 4 beginners at a time will be supervised and guided by one of our qualified dive instructors.
