About EuroDivers - Scuba Diving for Certified Divers
The activity starts at 9:00 from our Diving Center in Laganas, every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.
NOTE: If a certified diver is unable to participate on the above days, they may still join on the other days together with beginners. However, they will perform a separate dive for certified divers with one of our experienced dive leaders.
This trip will include 1 stop and 1 full guided dive for certified divers.
This option is only offered if the diver is unable to attend on the scheduled certified-diver days.
At the diving center, registration forms will be provided, along with liability and medical declarations that must be completed and signed.
If you are under 18 years old, additional signatures from a parent or guardian are required.
Our certified diving staff will assist in assembling and adjusting the equipment for all participating certified divers.
The dive boat departs at 10:00 from the dive center and heads to two preselected dive sites from the 17 available.
The diving area is located around the Zakynthos National Marine Park and the Keri Caves area.
Our dive sites offer a variety of underwater landscapes, such as reefs, walls, drop-offs, arches, caves, and cavities.
Marine life includes many species of colorful fish, octopus, nudibranchs, sea snails, anemones, tube worms, lobsters, moray eels, and the famous Caretta-caretta sea turtle.
On the boat, a briefing will be given by a staff member about the dive sites of the day, highlighting the main points of interest.
A safety briefing will also be provided.
Our dive boat can host up to 24 people, with full safety equipment, shaded areas, cabin, toilet, and a platform with ladder at the back for easy sea access.
If you do not wish to dive, you are welcome to join the trip for snorkeling or swimming while your partner or friend is diving.
The boat ride takes approximately 30–40 minutes to reach the first dive site.
Depending on certification level and experience, divers are divided into 2 groups and buddy pairs.
Each group is guided by professional dive leaders.
The first group consists of Open Water Divers, with a maximum depth of 18 meters.
The second group includes more advanced certifications, with a maximum depth of 30 meters.
The first dive lasts approximately 40–45 minutes.
During the surface interval, which lasts about 1 hour and 30 minutes, a pre-ordered meal is served on the boat in the form of a baguette or salad.
A small bottle of water is also provided.
After the meal, the boat moves to a different dive site for the second dive.
At the second site, the same groups will enjoy dives according to their certification level.
Upon request, photos and videos can be taken so you can take home a beautiful memory of your diving experience in Zakynthos.
The expected return time to the diving center is between 14:00 – 15:00.
